He married third Emily Bright. ****************** Cherokee Sentinel, June 14, 1946, page 1: Frank Montee Suffers Heart Attack** Percy Montee was notified yesterday morning that his father, Frank Montee, had died suddenly of a heart attack. The father had been visiting in Cherokee and we were talking with him Wednesday. He went to Columbus to look after some business, and was to have come back here today. Mr. Montee had come to the square at Columbus from the Columbus hotel where he had been living since last March, and was sitting on a bench talking with friends when he suddenly leaned over on a companion and before a doctor could get there he was dead. Frank Montee had lived in this vicinity ever since we can remember. many years ago he ran a livery stable here and in Scammon. The children have been notified and the time for funeral services will be announced later. Interment will be in the Cherokee cemetery it is thought about Sunday, but not sure yet.
