Lydard, Jr. - Raymond Lydard - Frank Lydard Obituary Frederick Post - December 21, 1987 Mrs. Annie Virginia Lydard, 79, of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., died Saturday, Dec. 19, at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. She was the wife of the late Thomas I. Lydard. Born Nov. 23, 1908, in Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Frances [Keith] Nicholson. Mrs. Lydard was retired from the postal office where she was employed as a rural mail carrier. Surviving are four daughters, Ruby Leith of Frederick, Annie Marshall of Richmond, Va., Bessie Carbaugh of Jefferson, Janet Fitts of Harpers Ferry; three sons, Thomas Lydard Jr., Raymond Lydard, both of Germantown, Frankie Lydard of Gaithersburg; one sister, Edna Carter of Harpers Ferry; 23 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsvffle Rd., (Md. 109), Barnesvflle. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, from the funeral home. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. Expressions of sympathy in Mrs. Lydard's name may be made to a favorite charity.
