Sheker, Paul Amick and Francis Kelly. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Boyanovsky, born Mar. 10, 1866 in Crezinak, Bohemia, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Boyanovsky. He came to America with his parents in 1871 when he was five years of age and the family settled at Marion, Iowa, then later they moved to Albert City and in 1884 he moved to Pocahontas county. He was united in marriage with Miss Theresia Mary Peitsch at Laurens on Aug. 29, 1893. They farmed in the vicinity of Laurens and Ware until 1919 when they retired and moved into Pocahontas. Two children were born to this union, Mrs. Anna Peterson and a son, Frank who died in infancy. Mrs. Boyanovsky died April 5, 1950. Survivors include his daughter, Anna Peterson, three sisters, and one brother. His sisters are Mrs. Stella Shimon of this place; Mrs. Charles Hunt of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Frank Honnold of Sioux City; and Frank Boyanovsky of Laurens.
