Mr. Else is survived by his wife, Mary, one son, Dean Else of Omaha, Nebraska, and two daughters, Mrs. B. J. Moon of Grand Island, Nebraska, and Mrs. James Darnold of Villisca, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Effie Else of Springfield, Mass., and six grandchildren, five sisters, and three brothers. He was preceded in death by two sons, one who passed away in infancy and Dwight, who died two and one-half years ago. Bedford Times Press, October 1, 1954, page 4
