He is survived by wife Barbara of Sterling; son, Steven of Sterling; daughter, Janatte Knobel and friend Bill Starr of Rosamond, Calif.; grandchildren: Trevor and Sydney Huls of Sterling, Ashley Knobel and friend Cody Vernon of Rosamond, Calif., Travis Knobel and friend Lauryn McGuiness of Lincoln; sister, Linda Truscott and friend Roger Moss of Sterling; brother, Roger and Karen Huls of Sterling; sister-in-law, Cindy Hoehne of Lincoln; nieces and nephews. Special pet, Toby. Preceded in death: parents, John and Alma Huls; in-laws, Harold and Esther Hoehne; brother-in-law, Dean Hoehne. Memorial servises will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Sterling with Pastor Jason Wolter officiating. There will be no viewing. The body has been cremated. Private inurnment of the cremains will precede the memorial services at the Sterling Cemetery.
