Description	:	Arlene Faye Jacoby, the daughter of Nathan and Gertrude (Ormsbee) Garber, was born on May 17, 1933 at Superior, Nebraska. She passed away on March 13, 2008 at Harvard Rest Haven in Harvard, Nebraska at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 26 days. Arlene grew up in Superior graduating from Superior High School with the class of 1950. On February 14, 1951 she was united in marriage to Leonard "Cork" Jacoby. Read More	Arlene Faye Jacoby, the daughter of Nathan and Gertrude (Ormsbee) Garber, was born on May 17, 1933 at Superior, Nebraska. She passed away on March 13, 2008 at Harvard Rest Haven in Harvard, Nebraska at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 26 days. Arlene grew up in Superior graduating from Superior High School with the class of 1950. On February 14, 1951 she was united in marriage to Leonard "Cork" Jacoby. Twin boys were born to this union on February 12, 1952. Arlene was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1970. Her death was attributed to this and renal failure. She was a member of the Eagles Club, the Nebraska Twin Association and served as Co-President in 2003 and also the Nebraska Multiple Sclerosis Society. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Donna Christensen. Survivors include her sons, Michael Lon and wife Marsha of Beloit, Kansas and Mitchell Lee and wife Tammy of Boise, Idaho and twin sister, Ilene May Johnson and husband Basil of Superior, Nebraska; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends and her one love, Mitzie her Maltese. Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Superior, Nebraska with David Watters officiating. Music was recorded song of "My Way" by Ilene Johnson and solo "How Great Thou Art" sung by Carol Shambaugh with Carlita Erickson as organist. Pallbearers were Mike Vollertsen, Varyl Doehring, Clare Wilson, Russell Johnson, Randall Wagner, Jim Butler, Bill Blauvelt, and Tony Jacoby. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Superior, Nebraska. Megrue-Price Funeral Home of Superior, Nebraska was in charge of the arrangements.
