Casket bearers were Victor Nielsen, Marvin Ruhga, Bob McCutchan, Glenn Oltmans, Jim Watts and Marvin Oltmans. The Honory (sic) bearers were Howard Good, Gerald Schultz, C.E. The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, January 30, 1969 ---------------------------------------- Arlie Eugene "Joe" DaMoude was born at Aurora, Nebraska on June 20, 1927 to George E. and Inez C. DaMoude. He departed this life at his farm home in Nelson, Nebraska, January 22, 1969 at the age of 51 years 7 months and 2 days. On April 8, 1937 he was united in marriage to Wilma Pearl Morehead. They lived their entire married life near Nelson, Nebraska. Arlie "Joe" DaMoude was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Gerald George and an infant brother, Irven Lyle. Survivors include his wife, Wilma of Nelson; two daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Joan) Krabel of Hastings, Nebraska and Betty Lou of Baker, Montana and three grandchildren, Julie, Teresa and Brian Krabel of Hastings, Nebraska. There is one living sister, Mrs. Leonard O'Brien of Englewood, Colorado and four brothers, Claude of Lincoln, Earl of Hordville, Eldon of Austin, Colorado and Dean of West Point, Nebraska. He leaves a host of relatives, neighbors and friends. Out of town relatives and friends were from Lincoln, West Point, St. Paul, Hordville, Aurora, Glenvil, North Platte, Wellfleet, Seward, Kearney, Hastings, Edgar, Lawrence, Oak, Hebron, Clay Center, Harvard, Mount Clare, Superior, Denver, Colorado, Englewood, Colorado and Fort Worth, Texas.
