Description	:	Mr. Armour Gray, aged 52 years, died at his home at 216 North Second Street at 8 o'clock Sunday night, after an illness of several months. Funeral Services conducted by Methodist Pastor, Rev. E.W. Faulkner and administered by Cornwell Funeral Home, were held at the home of the deceased at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon. Internment was at Brearley Cemetery. The business houses of the city were closed and the flags at the Federal Building were flown at half-mast during the funeral hour. Mr. Gray was born near Centerville and for most of his life was a resident of Dardanelle. He traveled to Arizona in 1912-14 seeking adventure and being variously employed. Soon after his return to this area in 1915, he married Cena R. McCorkle of Centerville. For years Mr. Gray has been engaged in the grocery and meat business, in which he was recognized leader. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and interested and active in civic affairs and the betterment of his town and community. He is survived by his wife, three sons, J.R., Armour Lee and Harold; and by one brother, Homer Gray, of Little Rock. The Post-Dispatch joins in extending deepest sympathy to the bereaved ones.
