Description	:	Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Friedens Evangelical and Reformed church for Arnold Jensen who died Wednesday. Arnold Herman Jensen, son of the late Chris Jensen and Mary nee Teut, was born November 14, 1900 in Morgan township; and departed from this life February 13, 1952 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry Streck. Read More	Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Friedens Evangelical and Reformed church for Arnold Jensen who died Wednesday. Arnold Herman Jensen, son of the late Chris Jensen and Mary nee Teut, was born November 14, 1900 in Morgan township; and departed from this life February 13, 1952 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry Streck. He had gone there to put the finishing touches on their new home which he was constructing. He reached the age of 51 years, 2 months and 30 days. He was baptized as a child and confirmed as a youth in Friedens Evangelical and Reformed church by Rev. Wetzler. He was married to Katherine Brocksen of Westside, February 7, 1923. To his union five daughters were born. He farmed the home place for ten years and trucked for five years. Since then he has been doing carpentering. Mr. and Mrs. Jensen spent 29 years of wedded life together. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and a good neighbor. He was a life-long member of Friedens church. Arnold became ill Saturday, but had been to work the day before his death. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother,Walter, in 1949. He leaves to mourn his death, his widow, Katherine; Marian, Mrs. Lloyd Baker of Kiron; Sylvia, Mrs. Harry Streck of Ida Grove; Romana, Mrs. Lea Nelson of Schleswig, Erma, Mrs. Marvin Neumann of Kiron; and Lois of the home and seven grandchildren; his two brothers, Alfred of Mapletona and Harvey of Schleswig and a host of relatives and friends.
