Arnold was born Sept. 15, 1919, in Bangor, the son of Charles and Helen (Clay) Jordan. He spent his younger years growing up in Maine and Connecticut. Arnold was born Sept. 15, 1919, in Bangor, the son of Charles and Helen (Clay) Jordan. He spent his younger years growing up in Maine and Connecticut. He served in the Army during World War II and played the French horn in the Armed Forces Band. He lived in Lincoln for more than 40 years and owned Jordan's Memorial Shop. He sang in the choir at the congregational church in Lincoln, and later upon moving to Stuart, Fla., joined the town's concert band. Arnold also served the state of Maine as a state representative from 1965-1966. Arnold is survived by two sons, Arnold Jr. "Jay" of Palm City, Fla., and Michael of Stuart, Fla.; and a daughter, Andrea McLaughlin of Hampton, N.H.; daughter-in-law, Pat Jordan of Stuart, Fla.; and son-in-law, James McLaughlin of Hampton, N.H.; eight grandchildren, Veronica Burke and husband, Steve, of Barre, Vt., Jay Jordan of Buxton, Tracy O'Neal and husband, Chuck, of Jacksonville, Fla., Angela Jordan of Stuart, Fla., Jamie Jordan of Jacksonville, Fla., Katie Conley and husband, Dana, of Melbourne, Fla., Amanda Munton and husband, Chris, of Hampton, N.H, and James McLaughlin of Bangor; and five great-grandchildren; siblings, Eleanor Worcestor of Lincoln, Raymond Jordan of Lincoln, Barbara Kneeland of Lincoln, Richard Jordan and Norman Jordan, both of Zephyrhills, Fla. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Shirley (Sigman); an infant daughter, Donna Jo; and his siblings, Harold, Lois Rolley, Harland, Malcolm, Phyllis and Betty.
