Arthur Charles Albright was born July 6, 191 Albright, July 6, 1917 on the family farm near Brunsville, to George F. and Anna (Marienau)Albright. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Brunsville, and attended country school in the area. On Nov. 4, 1940, he and Reva Dirks were united in marriage in Onawa, Iowa. The couple made their home in Akron, Iowa, and Sioux City, prior to moving to Buffalo, N.Y. during World War II.nThey returned to Sioux City for a brief time before moving to Hinton, Iowa.n They lived in Hinton for 45 years. He worked as a appliance and furniture salesman for Sears and Montgomery Wards in Sioux City. He also worked as a musician with his band, the Timberoojans, which played on KSCJ Radio for 15 years. The couple moved to LeMars in February 2000. Throughout the years, he was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Brunsville and Trinity Lutheran Church in Hinton. He was a currant member on Grace Lutheran Church in Le Mars. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Reva, of Le Mars; two daughters and their husbands, Barbara and Roberty Baldwin of Sioux City and JoAnn and John Keir of Roeland Park, Kan; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother and his wife,Marlin and Carol Albright of Brunsville; two sisters, Phyliss Small of Akron, Iowa and Marilyn and her husband Clifford Wheeldon of Aberdeen, S.D.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William and Virgil; five brothers-in-law, Ivyl Small, Vernon Howard, Darrel Dirks, Howard Dirks and Ed Burleson; and a sister-in-law Mildred Burleson. ∼ARTHUR ALBRIGHT Arthur Albright, 85, of Le Mars, died Monday, December 30, 2002, at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars. Arthur Charles Albright was born July 6, 1917, on the family farm near Brunsville, the son of George and Anna (Marienau) Albright. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Brunsville and attended county school in the area. On November 4, 1940, Art and Reva Dirks were united in marriage at Onawa. The couple made their home in Akron and Sioux City prior to moving to Buffalo, New York, during world War II. They returned to Sioux City for a brief time before moving to Hinton, where they lived for 45 years. The couple moved to Le Mars in February 2002. Art worked as an appliance and furniture sale man for Sears and Montgomery Wards in Sioux City. He also worked as a musician and along with his band, The Timberoojans, played on KSCJ radio for 115 ??years. Throughout the years Art was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Brunsville and Trinity Lutheran Church rural Hinton. He was currently a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Le Mars. Art played the guitar, banjo, and drums and his music was an occupation as much as a hobby. He was still volunteering his musical talents at area nursing homes as late as the fall of 2002. He also enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his wife Reva of Le Mars, two daughters; Barbara and her husband Robert Baldwin of Sioux City, and Jo Ann Keir and her husband John of Roeland Park, Kansas; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters Phyllis Small of Akron and Marilyn Weeldon and her husband Clifford of Aberdeen, South Dakota. Preceded him in death 2 brothers William and Virgil, 5 brothers-in-law Ivyl Small, Vermon Howard, Darrel Dirks, Howard Dirks and Ed Burleson, and sister-in-law Mildred Burleson.
