Description	:	March 31, 1923 - May 18, 2008 Funeral services for Arthur H. Dannenbring were held Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Faith Lutheran Church, Parkston, with the Rev. Kenneth Soyk officiating. Interment was made in the St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Clayton, with Koehn Bros. Funeral Home, Parkston, in charge of arrangements. Casketbearers were Jason Dannenbring, James Graves, Delbert Buehner, Joel Sterling, Harvey Dannenbring and Charles Ibis. Arthur H. Dannenbring was born on March 31, 1923, to Otto and Martha (Werning) Dannenbring in Clayton. He attended Clayton Grade School through the eighth grade. He married Leola Huber on October 22, 1945, in Clayton. They farmed near Clayton until moving into Parkston in 1979. They, along with their daughter, Joyce, owned and operated Joyce's Flower House for many years. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Parkston. He died Sunday, May 18, at Avera Bormann Manor, Parkston, at the age of 85 years. He is survived by a daughter, Joanne Sterling and husband, Les, Tea; son, James Dannenbring and wife, Kathryn, Parkston; three grandchildren, Laura Graves and husband, James, Pierre, Jason Dannenbring, Rapid City, and Joel Sterling and wife, Lori, Sioux Falls; two great-granddaughters, Layla and Grace Sterling; and two sisters, Olga Ibis, Mitchell, and Alice Buehner and husband, Leonard, Canistota. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leola; parents; daughter, Joyce; and three brothers, Edward, Edmund, and Leonhard. Parkston Advance May 2008
