Mr. Bjustrom had been a sufferer from diabetes for many years and had recently gone to this point in Arkansas in hopes that the might get relief from this trouble. He leaves a wife and four small children. He spent his boyhood days in this section and was very well known here and the people of the community extend sincere sympathy to his bereaved relatives in their sorrow. Mr. Strand, Mr. Bjustrom and Mrs. Victor Bjustrom and children arrived in Boone Sunday night with the remains and funeral services were held from the Bjustrom home Tuesday. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Stratford Courier December 18, 1924 OBITUARY Bjustrom Arthur J.R. Bjustrom, a son of Victor R. Bjustrom of southeast of town, passed away peacefully at his home in Fayetteville, Ark., December 3, 1924. He was born on his fathers farm on May 5, 1883 and was at the time of his departure, 41 years, 6 months and 28 days old. Deceased was married to Miss Ethel Houghton of Kasson, Minn., August 25, 1909 and to them was born four children, one girl and three boys. He was a member of the South Marion church until he left this community about fourteen years ago. After his marriage the family moved to Minnesota where they resided until last March when they went to Arkansas in the hope that his health would there be improved. He was suffering from diabetes and it seemed for a while that the change of climate would prove beneficial, but a sudden relapse took place and within a few days he was dead. He leaves to mourn his early departure from this world, his dear wife and four children, parents and a large number of relatives and friends. The funeral service was held from the South Marion M.E. church on Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 9, conducted by Rev. Edwin Sablen. The remains were laid to rest in the family grave in South Marion cemetery.
