Description	:	OBITUARY - Nevada Journal Arthur "Pete" Brown, 92, of Cambridge died Friday of congestive heart failure at the Rolling Green Village in Nevada. Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada, with the Rev. James W. King officiating. Burial of the cremains will be in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery. Arthur "Pete" Brown was born in Cambridge, the son of Henry and Clara (Hanks) Brown. On Dec. 23, 1929, he married Mable Marie Hainline in Des Moines. Mr. Brown was a farmer and lived in Cambridge all of his life. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Nevada and enjoyed rodeos, playing cards and watching Iowa State University basketball. Survivors include one son, Glen Brown of Ames; three granddaughters; five great grandchildren; one brother, John Brown of Des Moines; and three sisters, Esther Elliott of Des Moines, Thelma Severson of Ames and Gladys McBride of Zearing. He was preceded in death by his wife, and infant daughter and one brother. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Chet Ryan Mortuary, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions mey be made to the First United Methodaist Church in Nevada.
