Description	:	Mrs. Artie A. Jones, 78, wife of James W. Jones, Ottumwa route 6, died at the St. Joseph Hospital at 10:15 a.m. today. Born October 9, 1875, in Keokuk County, she was the daughter of Levi and Nancy Utterback Dawson. She was married to James W. Jones, March 8, 1886. She was a member of the Christian church and of the Keokuk township community club. E. Dawson of Hedrick. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Faerie, in 1947. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the First Christian church in charge of the Rev. Donald H. Gill, pastor, and the Rev. Fred Sawyer, pastor of the Bloomfield Christian church. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.
