Description	:	Icil Anne Parks, 98 of Centerville, Iowa and former resident of Bloomfield, died April 22, 2008 at the Centerville Nursing and Rehab Center in Centerville. She was born January 21, 1910 in Hedrick, Iowa to James William and Artie Arzella Dawson Jones. She married Harvey F. Parks April 5, 1942 in Kirksville, Missouri. A lifetime resident of Iowa, she graduated from Ottumwa High School and from Northeast Missouri Teacher College with honors. She spent more than 30 years teaching in rural schools and later teaching junior high English for Davis County Community Schools, retiring in 1976.... G. and Rita Parks; 2 daughters, Elaine and Don Faas and Nancy and Dennis Proctor; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harvey; a son, Ryan H. Parks; 4 brothers, Arlo, Otto, George and Wilbur Jones; and 2 sisters, Faerie Jones and Nancy Bissell. Memorial services were held Saturday April, 26, 2008 at the Bloomfield Christian Church with Rev. James Wakelin officiating. Burial at the Bloomfield IOOF Cemetery.
