| Description | : | Augusta Elizabeth Steiner, 90, a Pateros pioneer woman, died at a Brewster hospital Friday morning after an illness of four months. She was born at Newmans Grove, Neb., on Jan. 6, 1886. She married Chris J Steiner on March 27, 1907 and moved to Pateros. He had purchased the Pateros townsite in 1903. Mrs. Steiner was the last living charter member of the Pateros United Methodist Church.
