Barb was born December 17, 1933, in Council Bluffs, to the late Orval and Faye (Williams) Arnold. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1952. Barb was united into marriage with Philip Spencer on February 15, 1953. They were blessed with four children. Barb was a homemaker. She was a member of Underwood Lutheran Church, Martha Circle and the Red Hat Society. Visitation with the family, Thursday, 5 to 7 p.m., at Underwood Lutheran Church. Funeral Service, Friday, 11 a.m., at the church with Rev. Dr. Eberhard A. Hering officiating. A lunch will immediately follow the service in the fellowship hall. Private family interment in the Neola, Iowa Township Cemetery. Memorials to the church or Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation preferred.
