Description	:	Barbara Jean Lee, 78, of Yakima passed away May 15, 2011 peacefully in her sleep with her loving daughter Karin and son-in-law Chuck by her side. She was born on September 29, 1932 in South Bend, WA to William and Bertha (Gideon) O'Shaughnessy. She attended South Bend High School graduating with the class of 1951. Read More	Barbara Jean Lee, 78, of Yakima passed away May 15, 2011 peacefully in her sleep with her loving daughter Karin and son-in-law Chuck by her side. She was born on September 29, 1932 in South Bend, WA to William and Bertha (Gideon) O'Shaughnessy. She attended South Bend High School graduating with the class of 1951. She was Song Queen and also Manager of the football team. Barbara worked for Coast Oyster Co. for years before going to work for Weyerhaeuser Lumber Mill. She enjoyed many things in life; her trips to Reno and Laughlin with family and friends, all the clam digging, camping and fishing trips, but most of all, her family and grandchildren. She was their biggest fan at their sporting events. Barbara belonged to the American Legion Aux., VFW Aux., Eagles, Moose and the Elks Ladies Aux. She moved to Yakima six yeas ago with Lloyd so they could be closer to her daughter. She was very proud of the fact that she was a breast cancer survisor. Thanks to Dr. Brady and all his staff. She finally passed away from congestive heart failure. She is survived by her daughter Karin (Chuck) Kohls of Naches. Barbara also has two stepsons that she raised since they were very young, Mike (Shelly) Richey of Raymond and Dan (Gloria) Richey of Hoquiam. She has seven grandchildren, Brooks (Tracy) Kohls, Brett Kohls, Bobby Richey, Shannon (Scott) Coty, Joey (Terrell) Richey, Mike Richey and Colby Richey. She has ten great grandchildren, Kobe and Brooklynn Kohls, Tyler, Kaden and Colt Coty, Trevor, Jonathon, Brandon and Triston Richey and Ashley Richey. Barbara is also survived by her brother Sonny (Shirley) O'Shaughnessy, niece Christy O'Shaughnessy and nephews Marlon (Kim) Horton and Charles (Anecia) Hoton. She has six cousins, Marvin, Betty, Gene, Dave, Penny and Myrna. Also her first husband Glen (Carol) Richey. Preceding her in death was her husband Lloyd Lee, her parents William and Bertha O'Shaughnessy, her sister Marlene Horton Egner and her nephew Bryan O'Schaughnessy. The family would like to thank Memorial Hospice, Olga, Cheri, Natalie and David, and also Memorial Home Health nurse Ann for all you did that was above and beyond, Thanks again. Services will be May 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Raymond, WA in care of Stoller's Mortuary. Burial will follow at Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo, WA next to her husband, Lloyd.
