Description	:	Barbara Kay Binckley Thacker, age 75, of Marysville, formerly of Perry County, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at her home with her children at her side. She was an associate with the Ohio Department of Health for 13 years. Of the Lutheran faith, she grew up in Perry County where she was a 1960 graduate of Junction City High School. Read More	Barbara Kay Binckley Thacker, age 75, of Marysville, formerly of Perry County, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at her home with her children at her side. She was an associate with the Ohio Department of Health for 13 years. Of the Lutheran faith, she grew up in Perry County where she was a 1960 graduate of Junction City High School. Following graduation, she cherished riding in her Pontiac convertible. She was a hard-worker, loving mother and grandmother and put others before self. She was born November 25, 1942 in Junction City, Ohio to the late Christian Lee and Helen Marie Klingler Binckley. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Bruce Lee Thacker; a sister, Delores Evans; and a grandson, Curtis Allen Thacker, Jr. She is survived by her children, Sondra Kay Thacker of Austin, Texas, Cheryl Ann (Sean) Johnson of Sherwood, Arkansas, Debi Boyer of Hilliard and Curtis (Tina) Thacker of San Angelo, Texas; her grandchildren, Anecia, Breanna and Cassandra Thacker, Jessica (Kyle) Smith, Jacob Johnson, Britni, Brooke and Brad Boyer and Zachary, Andrew, Elizabeth and Curtis Thacker; two great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Nova; two sisters, Deanna (Gerald) Mohler of Lancaster and Brenda (Ken) Turnbull of Maple Valley, Washington; a brother, Jim (Candace) Binckley of Zanesville; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Barbara’s wishes included no calling hours or funeral service. A burial will be held at a later date at Grandview Cemetery in Bremen, Ohio.
