The Rev. Edwin B. Stander will officiate. Burial was in St. Stephens Cemetery. Rosary was recited Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at St. Stephens Church. Mrs. Reiman died Friday, May 7 at Oak Wood Manor Nursing Home in Edgar. She was born and resided her entire life in Lawrence, except for the past eight years when she lived in Edgar. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Agnes Black of Edgar; sons Joe of Bellevue, Elmer and Robert, both of Lawrence, and Lawrence of Kansas City, Mo.; 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. ========================= The Lawrence Locomotive (Lawrence, NE), Thursday May 20, 1976; pg. 1 Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Reiman were held Wednesday, May 12, at 10:30 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Lawrence, Nebr. Father Edwin Stander offered the Mass of the Ressurection (sic) and officiated at graveside services at St. Stephen's cemetery (sic). He was assisted by Father Matt of Kansas City, Mo. Arrangements were made by Urbauer Funeral Service of Edgar, Ne. Casket Bearers were six grandsons: Robert M. Reiman, Pat Reiman, Robert Schroer, Dwayne Reiman, Gary Reiman, and Mike Gabel. Barbara Lalley Reiman was born at Lawrence, Neb. on December 16, 1880 to Mr. and Mrs. Owen Lalley. She passed away at the Oakwood Mannor (sic) Nursing Home at Edgar on May 7, 1976 at the age of 95 years, 5 months. She was united in marriage with Joseph Reiman at St. Stephens on November 27, 1900. To this union was born 6 children. She spent most of her life on a farm south of Lawrence. In 1940 she moved to Lawrence. She spent the last 8 years of her life at Edgar. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church at Lawrence, Nebraska and also a member of the Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1933, one daughter, Lola Britten in 1945, and her 3 brothers and 6 sisters. She is survived by two sisters, Augustine Garner of Lincoln and Ella Emery of Albany, Oregon, one daughter, Agnes Black of Edgar, Neb. and four sons: Joe of Bellevue, Neb., Elmer of Lawrence, Neb., Lawrence of Kansas City, Mo. and Robert of Lawrence, Neb. 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. All of her grandchildren were able to be present for the funeral. Joe Reiman of Bellevue was not able to attend. Other relatives and friends attending the final rites were from Kansas City, Mo.; Edgar, Hastings, Madison, Ogallala, Fremont, Lincoln, Dayton, Washington, Indianola, Bartley, Denver, Colo., Glenvil, Blue Hill, Red Cloud, Shickley, Deweese, Shelby and Superior.
