Description	:	Mr. Barney W. Galensky was born in West Virginia, February 3, 1875 but when about three years of age he removed with his parents to LaCrosse, Wisconsin, where he spent his boyhood. June 24, 1902, Mr. Gelensky was united in marriage with Miss Emma Dathe at Ellendale, N.D. They went to his paternal home at LaCrosse, Wis., and after a year he removed to Milwaukee, where their daughter Violet and only child was born. Later they decided to come west again, and for the last few years have resided in LaMoure. Read More	Mr. Barney W. Surviving deceased are his wife and daughter, his two brothers, Lee and August Galensky of LaCrosse, and his sisters, Mrs. Jack Saley, Mrs. Wells and Mrs. Werner, also of LaCrosse, and Mrs. McCullum of Indiana. Thus, Mr. Galensky was the first of seven children to pass away, following the death of the parents. Not many of the brothers and sisters were able to attend the funeral services, which was conducted from the Presbyterian Church at Grand Rapids by Rev. R. H. Myers on Wednesday, March 5th. The services were largely attended by local relatives and friends of deceased and his family. While working in a Wisconsin lumber camp Mr. Galensky was taken ill with labor pneumonia in an acute form. He was removed to a hospital in Tomahawk, Wis., where he succumbed on March 1st. His death was a great shock to all of his relatived as his condition had not been represented as critical.
