Richard Unkenholz officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hope cemetery, Edgeley. Mrs. Carlson died Thursday at Americana Nursing Home, Fargo, where she had been a patient for three weeks. She was born January 3, 1904 to Mr. and Mrs. Barney Gelensky in Milwaukee, WI. She moved to LaMoure with her parents when she was a young girl. After graduating from LaMoure High School she taught school for three years. Her marriage to C. Robert Carlson took place June 30, 1926 in South Dakota. After marriage the couple farmed for a few years, later moving to Edgeley where Mr. Carlson was in the cattle business. After her husband died November 13, 1963, Mrs. Carlson continued living in Edgeley until moving to Jamestown in 1969. She was active in the WSCS of Edgeley Methodist Church while a member there and held various offices, the last being president. She was also active in VFW Auxiliary while in Edgeley. In Jamestown she was a member of First United Methodist Church. Pallbearers were Lawrence VerDouw, Douglas VerDouw, Gary VerDouw, Harold Schonberger, Duane Eidsvold and Kenneth Anderson. She is survived by two sons, Clinton and Clayton, both of Bismarck, two daughters, Mrs. Armond Letness (Gloria), Moorhead, Mn., and Joy Carlson, Fargo, and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown was in charge of arrangements.
