Description	:	Bartley W. "Bart" Bielenberg, 71, of Denison, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 1983, at Eventide Lutheran Home in Denison. Visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, at the Huebner Funeral Home in Schleswig. A memorial fund has been established in his memory. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 21, at United Church of Christ in Schleswig, with the Rev. Fred Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Morgan Cemetery, rural Schleswig, Iowa. Bartley William Bielenberg was born September 29, 1911, Crawford County near Schleswig, the son of William and Mattie (Krohnke) Bielenberg. He was baptized and confirmed at the United Church of Christ in Schleswig. He was raised on the family farm near Schleswig. He received his education in the rural schools and graduated from Schleswig High School in 1930. He then graduated from the Reppert School of Auctioneering in 1934. He married Ann Katharina Wilhelmina Kuehl on December 13, 1941, at the United Church of Christ in Sioux City, Iowa. He was employed as an auctioneer and real estate broker for 45 years. He was also involved with other business activities, until he retired. Ann preceded him in death on December 5, 1977. He served on the Board of Directors of the Farmers State Bank for a number of years. He was also a member of the Schleswig Community Club and the Schleswig Businessmen's Club. Surviving are one son, Donald (Nancy) Bielenberg of Schleswig; four grandchildren, Scott, Chris, Zachary and Adrienne; and his twin brother, Ben (Pauline) Bielenberg of Pharr, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and one brother, Henry Bielenberg. Huebner Funeral Home
