The organist was Mrs. Mabel Dunn. Flower bearers were Mrs. Walter Matthaei, Mrs. Francis Murphy, Mrs.Ed Reynolds, and Mrs. Earl Fryer. Casket bearers included Fred Schnoz, Walter Gourley, Willis Gourley, Jack Wright, Willis Marvick, and Earl Fryer. Concluding service and interment was in the Villisca Cemetery. Breda Lois Moore, daughter of Thomas V. and Nettie J. Elliott Moore was born February 1, 1908 at Kennett, Missouri and passed away after a long illness at the Rosary Hospital, Corning, Iowa, on Friday, December 2, 1966 at the age of 58 yeas. Breda grew up in the Kennett Community where she lived until December 1936, when she came to Villisca Iowa to make her home. On January 23, 1943 she was united in marriage to Lewis Thomas Gourley at Plattsmouth, Nebraska. They lived all their married life in Villisca. Mr. Gourley passed away on January 27, 1965. Mrs. Gourley was a member of the Garden Club. As a small child she was baptized in the Methodist Church, and during her last illness she made the confession of faith and united with the Villisca Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father and her husband, Lewis. She is survived by her other, Mrs. Nettie Broderick and her step-father, William R. Broderick, both of Villisca; two sisters, Mrs Laurie Gossott, Detroit, Michigan, and Mrs. Peggy Schmidt, Fairfield, Iowa; one nephew, two nieces and a number of cousins and friends.
