Description	:	The marriage of Ben Svoboda, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Svoboda, of the Clutier community, to Miss Anna Hala, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hala, near Dupanda hall, took place Monday morning at Holy Trinity church, southwest of Clutier. The Rev. F. X. Gorecki, of Vining, performed nuptial mass at 9:30 o clock in the presence of about seventy guests. The Rev. F. X. Gorecki, of Vining, performed nuptial mass at 9:30 o clock in the presence of about seventy guests. Edwin Behounek and Miss Albie Hala, the latter a sister of the bride, attended the couple. The bride wore a wedding gown of lace-trimmed white satin with long sleeves, a finger-tip length tulle veil held in place with rows of rhinestones, and white satin sandals. She carried a shower bouquet of white chrysanthemums and ferns. She wore a gold bracelet and carried a pearl rosary, both gifts of the groom. The maid of honor was dressed in aqua blue satin and wore silver slippers. She carried pink carnations and white pom-poms. The altar was decorated with white chrysanthemums and blue delphiniums. Charles Svoboda, brother of the groom, served as usher. Following the ceremony, the bridal party and guests enjoyed a dinner at the home of the bride s parents. The tables and home were attractively decorated in the bride s colors of white and blue. Table waitresses were the Misses Helen Hayek, Eleanor Posusta, Mildred Polka, and Mildred Dvorak, who wore white dresses and shoes and blue and white aprons. A two-tier wedding cake, baked by the bride, was decorated by the bride and her sister, Albie, with blue rosettes and white doves and bells. Centering a second table was a large birthday cake, topped with three candles, in honor of Mayme Kucera, niece of the bride. Five hundred relatives and friends attended a shower and wedding dance in the evening at Dupanda hall. Both the bride and groom have been living at home since completing their education.
