Description	:	Benjamin B. “Bennie” Ramsdell, age 75, of Kenmare, died Saturday, December 27 at the Kenmare Hospital. His funeral is today, Wednesday, at 10 a.m. at the St. Agnes Catholic Church of Kenmare with Fr. Joseph Adkins, Celebrant. The Rosary was recited Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. at the Church. Organist is Mrs. Maureen Munch. Active Casketbearers include John Landsiedel, Dick Ramsdell, Jim Munch, George Gehris, Bill Murray, and Jim O’Fallon. Bennie was born on October 2, 1911 at Kenmare, a son of John A. and Laura J. Ramsdell and was raised in the Norma area where they farmed. He was married to Katherine Hanson on January 7, 1932, and he retired from farming around 1970. They were later divorced and he then married Frances O’Fallon at Tacoma, WA, on July 3, 1972. He was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church and a charter member of the Kenmare Senior Citizens, as well as a member of the Minot Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Frances of Kenmare; daughter, Mrs. John (Phyllis) Landseidel of Minot; step-sons, Jim O’Fallon of Great Falls, MT, Don O’Fallon of Minot, and Jerry O’Fallon of El Cajon, CA; step-daughters, Patricia Munch, Colleen Gehris and Mary Ellen Murray, all of Great Falls, MT; 33 grandchildren and step-grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; brother, Floyd Ramsdell of Powers Lake and a sister, Laura Brown of Kelso, WA; also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, two daughters, parents, and nine brothers and sisters. Thompson-Larson Funeral Home of Kenmare is in charge of arrangements.
