Description	:	Mr. B. Frank Daugherty owned a hardware business along with William T. Sterling in the 1880s. Known as Daugherty, Sterling and Co., it was located on Broad street in the warehouse district near the waterfront in Crisfield, Maryland. In 1899, it consolidated with the George W. Long Hardware business to become the Crisfield Hardware Company. Ownership passed to Mr. Daugherty's son, William E. Daugherty in the early 1900s and from him to his son, W. Frank Daugherty.
