Griffithsville, WV. Benjamin Roy Grass, 90, of Griffithsville, Lincoln County, West Virginia, father of Robert L. Grass, coowner of Stevens and Grass Funeral Home, Malden, died Friday at Morris Memorial Convalescent Home, Milton, after a long illness. A native of Huntington, Mr. Grass had been a resident of Griffithsville 70 years. A retired employee of the South Penn Oil Co., he was a member of the Eden Baptist Church at Griffithsville and Masonic Lodge. Mr. Grass attended Marshall College where he was a member of the 1901 football team. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends after 2:00 P.M. today at Stevens and Grass Funeral Home, Malden. Service will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Eden Baptist Church in Griffithsville with the Rev. Ralph Jaynes officiating. Burial will be in May cemetery at Griffithsville. The body will be taken to the church noon Sunday.
