Description	:	Final Rites Held Saturday For Benjamin Slunecka Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church in Miller Saturday for Benjamin Slunecka who died suddenly Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. Richard Moberly officiated and burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ben Hoffman, George Ellsworth, Royal Matson, Rudy Melhoff, Roy Gobel, and Major Albert Kopp. Slunecka was born January 24, 1904 in Fairview township. He was a member of Greenleaf Church and served as a trustee on the Board. Surviving are the widow; two children Marilyn and Gordon of Miller; five grandchildren; two brothers, John and Ed of Miller; two sisters, Bozanna Hart and Rose Dierksen, both of Ft. Pierre; and a half-sister, Emma Mednensky of Kadoka. Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Fred and Johnny; a sister, Mary Murphy; and a half-sister, Anna Adamec.
