Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday morning at the Aurora Pleasant View Bible Church. The Rev. Barry McCormick will officiate. OBITUARY: "Ben" Wall Bernard Levi Wall, the son of Bernhard B. and Elizabeth (Quiring) Wall, was born near Henderson, Nebraska on May 27, 1923 and died at Aurora, Nebraska on September 1, 1999 at the age of 76 years, 3 months and 4 days. He grew up near Henderson, attended school district #38 for eight years, located northwest of Henderson and graduated from Henderson High School. He then attended Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas for one semester. On November 3, 1946, he was united in marriage to Alma Gustafson at Henderson. Ben was engaged in farming until 1997. They lived near Henderson and moved into Aurora in 1975. They were members of the Mennonite Brethren Church in Henderson until moving to Aurora when they joined the Pleasant View Bible Church. Music was always an important part of his life. As a freshman in high school, he sang bass in the boy's quartet. He also performed solos with music groups at school contests. He was a member of the Messengers of Grace Men's Chorus on radio. He also sang with a men's quartet in a traveling music ministry. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his wife, Alma of Aurora; one son, Marcellus and his wife, Joyce of Aurora; two daughters, Bonita Oswald and her husband, Bob of Aurora, and Sherryl Wall of Grand Island; one brother, Pete Wall of Henderson; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
