She was born August 1, 1938 in Independence, VA to Archie Woodrow and Mallie Mae Owens Griffith. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Anderson; one daughter, Martha Ann Headley; her parents; one brother, James Edward Griffith. She was a member of Wilkesboro Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Adams Funeral Home of Wilkes with Rev. Jerry Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow at Independence Cemetery in Independence, VA.
