Description	:	FISHER, BERNICE RUTH—Bernice Ruth Hafer was born on a farm east of Geneva, Neb., November 23, 1898. She departed this life October 31, 1935, in Geneva. Mrs. Fisher became a member of the Methodist church of Geneva when a young girl. A few years later her family moved to Grafton, she transferring her members hip to the congregational church there, being no Methodist church in the community. Read More	FISHER, BERNICE RUTH—Bernice Ruth Hafer was born on a farm east of Geneva, Neb., November 23, 1898. She departed this life October 31, 1935, in Geneva. Mrs. Fisher became a member of the Methodist church of Geneva when a young girl. A few years later her family moved to Grafton, she transferring her members hip to the congregational church there, being no Methodist church in the community. After moving to Exeter, her membership was transferred there to the Congregational church. After returning to Geneva, she affiliated with the Methodist church, and was a member of division No. 1 of the aid. She graduated from the Geneva high school in the class of 1915. She was married to Donald H. Fisher October 25, 1916. To this union four children were born, three of whom, with her husband and aged father survive her. They are Margaret Maxine, Marjorie Sidney, and Robert Hafer Fisher; and her father, B. F. Hafer of Geneva. A daughter, Alice Marie died in infancy. Mrs. Fisher was a woman greatly devoted to her family and home and her untimely passing is deeply regretted by her family and a large circle of relatives and friends. The funeral service was held at the Geneva Methodist church at 2:30 p. m. Sunday and was conducted by Rev. A. E. Bashford of Exeter, assisted by Rev. W. H. Shoaf. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal, November 7th, 1935 page 1.
