Description	:	Bert S. Oltmanns was born on a farm southwest of Lennox, SD on Mar. 23, 1909, the son of Steven and Grace Oltmanns. He attended rural school and grew to manhood on a farm south of Lennox. On Nov. 24, 1932 he was united in marriage to Ada Cramer at the Turner County First Presbyterian Manse of rural Davis, SD. They farmed in the Lennox area their entire married life. He was an active and faithful member of Turner County First Presbyterian Church of rural Davis. Oltmanns was born on a farm southwest of Lennox, SD on Mar. 23, 1909, the son of Steven and Grace Oltmanns. He attended rural school and grew to manhood on a farm south of Lennox. On Nov. 24, 1932 he was united in marriage to Ada Cramer at the Turner County First Presbyterian Manse of rural Davis, SD. They farmed in the Lennox area their entire married life. He was an active and faithful member of Turner County First Presbyterian Church of rural Davis. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his half-brother, Steeven, on Oct. 14, 1972. Following an illness of five months duration and hospitalization of three weeks, Bert passed away in a Sioux Falls hospital on Feb. 17, 1976. He attained the age of 66 years, ten months and 24 days.
