Description	:	EAST WENATCHEE - Bertha C. Racus, 65, a 24-year resident of East Wenatchee and a longtime resident of Central Washington, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 1995, in Colonial Vista Convalescent Center. She was born April 2, 1930, to Erick and Sophrania (Mills) Tillberg at Wenatchee. She was raised at Ardenvoir until the age of 11, when her family moved to Twisp. She graduated from Twisp High School in 1948. Following high school, she moved to Seattle, where she lived briefly and received training in photography. She later moved to Southern California. Racus, 65, a 24-year resident of East Wenatchee and a longtime resident of Central Washington, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 1995, in Colonial Vista Convalescent Center. She was born April 2, 1930, to Erick and Sophrania (Mills) Tillberg at Wenatchee. She was raised at Ardenvoir until the age of 11, when her family moved to Twisp. She graduated from Twisp High School in 1948. Following high school, she moved to Seattle, where she lived briefly and received training in photography. She later moved to Southern California. She lived in Los Angeles and worked as a mail clerk for General Motors Finance Co. She later moved to Savannah, Ga., where she lived for 12 years. She returned to Twisp briefly in the mid-1960s before moving to Wenatchee. She worked as a motel maid in Wenatchee and later for Dolco Packaging. She married Emmett L. Racus on Sept. 25, 1971, at East Wenatchee, where they made their home. Mrs. Racus was an honorary member of the downtown Kiwanis Club in Wenatchee and a longtime member of the Eastmont County Pool exercise group. Survivors include her husband of East Wenatchee; three stepsons, Jim Pulsipher of St. Paul, Minn., Roger Racus of Barstow, Calif., and Jeffrey Racus of Vancouver; two stepdaughters, Karen Meyn of Maynard, Mass., and Sara Rusten of Kent; her mother, of Brewster; a brother, Erick G. "Gus" of Twisp; and nine stepgrandchildren. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
