Read More	When Mrs. Charles J. Ruhga passed from this life Sunday, March 25, at the Mary Lanning memorial hospital at Hastings, the entire community at Angus was stricken with a grief that cannot be estimated or stated in mere words, for she was among the best known of this section. To her bereft family, a husband and four children, spoken words nor deeds can never fill the place she occupied, and her influence for good was ever so strong that those with whom she came in contact will ever treasure to the end of this earthly life, the precious privilege of having known her. Her little home was ever a haven of love and peace with Christ Jesus the Master of the house, and though she leaves there a vacancy that never can be filled, her splendid teachings and example will remain and be a guiding light beckoning for her husband and children to follow her to that home of many mansions prepared by Jesus for the faithful. In her profession of religion she was most faithful to the end for her confession was more than by word as it included a well-lived life that was consistent with such a declaration of confession. Ever present at all services of the church possible with her loved ones at her side, her relationship to the religious activities of the community was second to her devoted home life only. As a neighbor and a friend she was an asset to the community. The regard with which she and family were held was demonstrated by the large number attending the funeral services which were held from the Christian church of Angus Monday afternoon. Scarcely half of those present were able to find room within the church and representatives were there from all surrounding towns as well as from many distant places. The family has resided here in Nuckolls county (sic) since early pioneer days, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Geo. A. Felton being among the first residents of the county, and Mr. Felton taking an active part in the formulating of some of our early laws as a state senator. Bertha Ella Felton was born on April 4, 1891, and when 13 years of age united with the old Ox Bow Christian church (sic). On February 21, 1909, she was united in marriage to Charlie J. Ruhga, and to this union were born three daughters: Helen Louvinia, Ilah Mae, and Evelyn Cleora, and one son Marvin Charles, whose present ages range from 7 to 16 years, and who with the husband and father survive her. Her aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Felton, and five sisters, Mrs. Stanley Adamson of Wauneta, Mrs. Ira Overton of Clay Center, Mrs. E.C. Moore of Greeley, Colorado, Mrs. D.L. Kay of Marsland, and Mrs. Christian Humerickhouse of Mills City, Oregon, also survive her, and all were present except the last named, who just recently moved out west. Many other out of town friends and relatives wee present, among them the parents of Mr. Ruhga.
