She was a member of the Bethany Christian Church, Odessa, and a 50 year member and past worthy matron of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter No. 244, at El Paso. She was also a member of the Social Order of Beaucent. She was a homemaker and had done volunteer work for Various groups and Organizations. She was married to Millard Ellsworth (Buck) Weaver July 21, 1923, at Valley Falls. He died Jan 7, 1964. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Commers; a Son, Millard Glyn Weaver, two brothers in Law, Vernon Weaver and Don Weaver, both Rock Creek. Survivors include a daughter in Law, Eunice Weaver, Silver City, N.M.; two Sisters in law, Leona Weaver and Mary Weaver, both of Rock Creek; and Several grand children. Meriden Chapter No. 399, Order of the Eastern Star, Conducted acervice at the Cemetery. The Rev. Donna Voteau- Messier, United Methodist Church, Valley Falls, officiated. Memorials are suggested to Meriden Chapter N0.399, OE. 5, and may be Sent in care of the Nellis Funeral Home, Valley Falls. Nellis Funeral Home, Valley Falls, was in charge of arrangements.
