He had arthritis and apparently had a cerebral hemorrhage after admission to the hospital. He was supervisor of the duplicating and office service division of the State Department of Revenue 25 years before he retired Aug. 1,1967. Earlier, he was employed by Hall Lithographing Co. for 23 years. He was born July 25, 1898 at Grantville and spent most of his life in Topeka. He was a veteran of World War I,having served overseas with the 15th Machine Gun Battalion of the Fifth Division of the Army. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Capitol Post No. 1 of the American Legion and Jayhawk Barracks No. 1113 of World War I Veterans. He was married to Erma Murray Oct. 18, 1930 in Topeka. She survives. Other surivors include a son William R. Glyn, Omaha, Neb.; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Weaver, Hurley, N.M.; a brother, Roy E. Glyn, Topeka; and 5 grandchildren.
