A. J. Jarzemski offered the requiem high mass. The church choir sang the mass. Pallbearers were Frank and Ollie Maschka, Clemence Maciwjewski, Steve Slabaszewski, Tony Jankowski ad Frank Piechota, all of Ashton. Bertha Jamrog Badura was born Feb. 7, 1892, the daughter of Charles and Josie Jamrog. Her youth was spent in Omaha. In 1895, she came with her parents to Ashton where she attended schools. On Sept 27, 1914 she married Stanley E. Badura, and to this union were born four children. On Dec 10, 1952 she died at a Grand Island hospital after a lingering illness. She had been bedfast for the past four months. Mrs. Badura was a faithful member of the Third Order of St. Francis. She is survived by her husband, Stanley; one son, Donald, Ashton; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph McCully of Hyattsville, Md.; five grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. J. J. Dilla of Grand Island.
