Music was furnished by the male quartet accompanied by E. J. Rink. Pallbearers were George Meyer, Henry Meyer, Ed Peters, Fred Kroeger, Herman Horst and J. H. C. Moeller. Mrs. Langemeier was born Sept. 29, 1880, on a farm near Hooper. She was married May 25, 1899, to George Langemeier at St. Paul's Lutheran church with Rev. Wupper performing the ceremony. The Langemeiers spent most of their life farming in the Hooper community. In 1941 they retired and moved to Hooper. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church and the ladies Aid of the church. Mr. Langemeier died Oct. 28, 1941. One daughter, Frieda, and three sons, Elmer, Martin and Gilbert, also preceded her in death. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Norman Keller; five sons, John, Edwin and Walter of Hooper; Arnold of Ithaca, and Wilbert of Snyder; a brother, William Meyer? of Pender; a sister, Mrs. Lena Holmes? of Morrell; and 22 grandchildren.hhw
