Description	:	Mrs. Bertha Warnsholz, nee Oldenburg, was born June 11, 1856, at Natzmersdorf, Regenwalde, Pomerania, Germany. She was baptised at Neuenkirchen, where she was also received into communicant membership of the Lutheran church after due instruction in the chief parts of the Christian religion. In the month of April 1883 she came to the United States with her father and the rest of the family and located east of town near Germantown, Nebraska. Read More	Mrs. Bertha Warnsholz, nee Oldenburg, was born June 11, 1856, at Natzmersdorf, Regenwalde, Pomerania, Germany. She was baptised at Neuenkirchen, where she was also received into communicant membership of the Lutheran church after due instruction in the chief parts of the Christian religion. In the month of April 1883 she came to the United States with her father and the rest of the family and located east of town near Germantown, Nebraska. In the year 1890, April 11, she married Mr. Detlef Warnsholz, a widower. One son was born to this union, who preceded her in death in 1916. In the spring of the same year the deceased with her husband moved to Seward on North First Street, where she was living at the time of her death. When they moved to Seward they transferred their membership to St. John's Church where they regularly attended divine services and the Lord's Supper. Her death came unexpectedly. She died of a hemorrhage caused by a ruptured vein, July 8, 7 p.m., 1926, at the age of 70 years and 27 days. She leaves her aged husband Detlef Warnsholz, two stepsons with their wives, Emil Warnsholz of Ada, Minn.; Richard Warnsholz of Garland, Nebraska; one step-daughter Emma with her husband Fred Ahrens of Garland, Nebr.; 21 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, three sisters: Mrs. August Schulz and Mrs. Johanna Plautz, both of Garland, and Mrs. Mathilda Krieser, southeast of Garland, and many other relatives and friends. After services at the home and at St. John's church, July 12, in the afternoon, interment was made in the cemetery of Trinity Lutheran church, ten miles east of Seward, where the deceased held membership before she came to Seward.
