Dumont of Moncton, Thursday, April 5, 2001, at the age of 88 years, passed away Bertha Sarah Leger, beloved wife of feu Gerard Leger (1988), residing at 15, rue Edouard in Saint-Antoine-de-Kent. She was the daughter of the late Michel Leger and the late Rosalie LeBlanc. She was the daughter of the late Michel Leger and the late Rosalie LeBlanc. She is survived by three daughters: Geraldine LeBlanc (Gerald) of Irishtown, Aurore LeFranois (William) of Minto and Della MacFarlane (Melcolm) of Halifax; two sons: Victor (Alma) of Toronto and Harvey of Saint-Antoine-de-Kent; two sisters: Bella Belliveau of Leominster, Ma. and Germaine Myers (Bob) of London, Ont; one brother, Alyre Emilienne) of Saint-Antoine-de-Kent, as well as 12 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Gerard Jr, as well as a sister, Ida. The remains are currently on display in the mortuary room of the Church of Saint-Antoine-de-Kent. The funeral will take place at Saint-Antoine-l'Ermite church in Saint-Antoine-de-Kent, on Saturday April 7, at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery later this spring. Visiting hours: Friday April 6, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday April 7, from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The funeral was entrusted to the professional care of the Maillet funeral home in Bouctouche.
