The following provided by Find A Grave contributor "Cara": The River Press, Fort Benton, Mont., 13 Jan 1932 Mrs. Cecil W. Allen Passes Mrs. Cecil W. Allen, who has been at the St. Clare hospital for the past several weeks, passed away Saturday Jan. 9, 1932. The announcement of her death was received with regret by many friends throughout this section. Mrs. Allen had been ill for several months with tuberculosis. Soon after her marriage to Mr. Allen she came to their ranch in Pleasant Valley where they have resided ever since. She was well known in that section and in Fort Benton and was held in the highest esteem. Bessie Marie Toole was born at Circleville, Ohio, Mar. 3, 1897, and died at Fort Benton, Mont., Jan. 9, 1932, at the age of 34 years, 10 months and 6 days. Her childhood and early youth was spent in Ohio, but at the age of 18 she went to live with her brother, Walter, at Seattle, Wash., where she resided until 1920 when she moved to Oakland, Calif., remaining there until May 1921, when she was united in marriage to Cecil W. Allen, and came to a ranch in Pleasant Valley, 8 miles northwest of this city, where she resided until her death. She was preceded into the great beyond by her mother and six brothers. She leaves to mourn her passing besides her husband, Jim, age 8, and Vance, age 5; her father, James Toole, of Circleville, Ohio; three brothers, W. B. Toole of New York City, L. H. Toole of Louisville, Ky., and Fred Toole of Columbus, Ohio, besides other relatives and a host of friends. As a young woman she became a member of the University Place Christian Church of Seattle, Wash., and later transferred her membership to the local Christian church. She was a loyal and devoted member. Her's was a Christian life dominated by a great faith. Although in poor health for years she remained cheerful and optimistic. Her life has been an inspiration to her associates and a demonstration to the world of beauty and worthwhileness of a Christ-centered life. Funeral services were held from the Christian church on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Dan W. Brown, pastor of the church. Interment was made in Riverside cemetery.
