She attended schools at Werner, ND, country school, and the Halliday Public School. On October 26, 1927 Bessie and Glen Jackson were married at Manning, North Dakota. They had three children. She made afghans, enjoyed sewing, and especially liked her flowers. She had a special love for her grandchildren and enjoyed going to the farm and spending time with Megan. Bertha Little was a special friend and for the past year they talked on the phone every night. Bessie is survived by her daughters, Vera Dahlen of Halliday, ND and Hazel Geffre of Tucson, AZ; twelve grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; nineteen great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Pete Stevens, Killdeer, ND. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Glen, one grandson, two sisters, and six brothers.
