She lived in her home with her parents three and one-half miles southwest of Chester, Nebraska, over in the State of Kansas. She started her schooling at her home school, Liberty Center, for two years she attended this school, the past year she attended the Chester school. Although her health was not good all her life she was very brilliant in her schooling. She was loved by young and old alike, being very fond of other children, always leading and trying to care for them. She will be greatly missed by these little friends of hers as well as the older ones of us. Beth Ann always met you with a smile, and even with her nurses she did the same thing. She was just a little jewell (sic) in her home and among others. She leave (sic) to mourn her death, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Palmer; four sisters and two brothers, two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Phillip Palmer and wife, Mrs. Raymond Duey and husband of Chester, Nebraska, Mrs. Douglas Duey and husband of Lincoln, Nebraska, Elmore Palmer and wife of Belleville, Kansas, Donna and Edith at home. Her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edson Palmer of Marysville, Ka., and Mrs. Winnie Davis of Chester, Nebraska. Five nieces, two nephews, ten aunts and two uncles, other relatives and a host of friends. IN MY FATHERS HOUSE No cold beneath the grasses, Not close-walled within the tomb; Rather, in our Father's Mansion Living, in the upper room. Near is our daughter whom fortune Beckons where the strange lands loom; Just behind the hanging curtain, Serving, in another room. Shall we doubt our Father's Mercy? Shall we think of death as doom, Or the stepping o'er the threshold To a bigger, brighter room? We shall not blame our Fathers wisdom, Nor sit wishing in the gloom, When we know our daughter is happy, Waiting in another room. Funeral services were held Saturday at 3 P.M. in the Chester Christian Church with Rev. C.M. Foust officiating. Music was furnished by the quartet - Donna Lee Sell, Bonnie Moxham, Ernest Moxham and Alfred Davenport, accompanied by Mrs. Ray Truss. Pallbearers were Jean Davenport, Joan Davenport, Elinor Larkins and Mary Ann Sherwood. Interment was in the Chester Cemetery.
