Description	:	Betty J. Oyler, 87, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 at Marion General Hospital. Betty was born in Clinton County, Ind. on May 20, 1927 to the late Glen V. and Mabel C. (Eikenberry) Johnson. Betty was a graduate of Sweetser High School, Class of 1945. She married Lowell E. Oyler on Nov. 2, 1947 and he survives in their Sweetser home. Read More	Betty J. Oyler, 87, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 at Marion General Hospital. Betty was born in Clinton County, Ind. on May 20, 1927 to the late Glen V. and Mabel C. (Eikenberry) Johnson. Betty was a graduate of Sweetser High School, Class of 1945. She married Lowell E. Oyler on Nov. 2, 1947 and he survives in their Sweetser home. She had worked at Sigler Grocery in Converse. Betty was an avid Bingo and Euchre player and enjoyed many games in between traveling and playing the piano and organ. She was a Past Worthy Matron of Somerset Eastern Star and a member of the Woodlawn United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Lowell E. Oyler; daughters, Cynthia (Bill) Mullinix, Converse, and Rebecca Clark, Somerset; three grandchildren, David (Lisa) Foy, Michael (Cristy) Mullinix and Valerie Jivery; seven great-grandchildren, Jakobe Mullinix, Breighton Mullinix, Chaz Foy, Elizabeth Jivery, Madison Jivery, Allison Jivery and John (Ashley) Williams; one great-great-grandson, Hunter Williams; three nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara L. Hulley; grandson, Matthew L. Clark; and great-great-granddaughter, Abbigail C. Mullinix. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 1 p.m. until time of service at Converse Church of Christ, 309 East Wabash Street in Converse. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Converse Church of Christ with Pastor John Clark officiating. Burial will be at the Mississinewa Cemetery in Somerset, Ind.
