Betty married Richard Brown and later, Edgar Halterman. She was blessed with four daughters and a son. Betty worked for 50+ years for Beatrice Daily Sun as a route driver. Read More	Betty was born July 10, 1930 near Burchard, NE to Edward M. and Mayme (Guida) Moslander. She graduated from Lewiston, NE High School. Betty married Richard Brown and later, Edgar Halterman. She was blessed with four daughters and a son. Betty worked for 50+ years for Beatrice Daily Sun as a route driver. She owned Betty's Chat & Chew Restaurant in Beatrice and later the Liberty Steakhouse for 7 years. Betty loved the farm, animals, was a great cook and working in her garden. She was an avid Husker fan and enjoyed going to her girls' softball games and her grandson's football games. Left with memories are her daughters Jeannie Kimes of Beatrice, Jackie Halterman of Blue Springs and Kimberly Henson of Wymore; grandsons, Scott Kimes and Linda Sargent of Beatrice, Kurt Lineweber and wife Cari of DeWitt; great-granddaughter Macy Kimes of Beatrice; sister, Dorothy Plegge and husband Walt of Beatrice; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Richard Brown and Edgar Halterman; son, Terry; daughter, Tammy; brothers, William "Bus", Gerald "Jake" and Richard Moslander; sisters, Ruby Wood and Ruth Brandt. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Harman-Wright Mortuary Chapel with Pastor David Bigley, officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Home Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Harman-Wright Mortuary Sunday Noon-8pm with the family greeting friends from 5pm-7 pm. A memorial is established to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Beatrice Humane Society.
