Description	:	Beulah Mae Hart Cottrell of Hide Away Lake Mobile Estates, Valley Center, California died August 3, 1992 in Escondido, California following a long illness of Parkinson's Disease. Beulah Hart, daughter of Isaac T. and Clara Reese Hart, was born in an apartment at the back of the restaurant where the Pleasanton Firehall now stands. She spent her childhood in Pleasanton, attended Pleasanton Public Schools, was graduated from Kearney High School and attended Kearney State Teachers College. Beulah Hart, daughter of Isaac T. and Clara Reese Hart, was born in an apartment at the back of the restaurant where the Pleasanton Firehall now stands. She spent her childhood in Pleasanton, attended Pleasanton Public Schools, was graduated from Kearney High School and attended Kearney State Teachers College. She taught at King's School, Poole, Grant, and Kearney. She taught in these Nebraska schools until her marriage. In 1931 at her home in Pleasanton she was married to Robert G. Cottrell. After living in Nebraska and Minnesota they settled in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was graduated, cum laude, from the University of Utah and received her Reading Specialists Courses at Brigham Young University. Both she and her husband, Robert, taught in the Salt Lake City school system. She retired in 1970 after 37 years of teaching in the Salt Lake City Unified Schools and was chosen for membership in the Delta Kappa Gamma Honorary Education Sorority. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Salt Lake, the Eastern Star and the Ladies of the Nile. She was proceeded in death by her parents; two brothers, George and Isaac Leslie Hart; and her husband, Robert G. Cottrell. She is survived by one foster daughter, Martha Roberts of Mabelvalle, Arkansas; sister and husbands, Harriett and Dale Draper and Audrey and Wynn Winkler; sister-in-law Viola Hart, Charlotte Cottrell, Helen Cottrell Weishapl and husband Cyril; cousins Jim Darby and Dorothy Hendren of Pleasanton and a number of other relatives and friends.
