She was born August 20, 1905 in Anderson County, the daughter of the late William and Emma Brewer Hammond. She was a homemaker and a member of Geer Memorial Baptist Church. She was born August 20, 1905 in Anderson County, the daughter of the late William and Emma Brewer Hammond. She was a homemaker and a member of Geer Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law Preston Ray and Mary Pace of Easley; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn P. and Dan Rampey and Zoa Mae and Dennis Medlin all of Easley; one brother, Louie Hammond of Pelzer; three sisters, Ada Mills of Lyman, S.C., Lydia Smith of Pelzer, and Hazel Gillespie of Liberty; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grand- children, and one great-great grandchild. Mrs. Pace was pre-deceased by her husband Columbus Walter Pace. Beulah Pace was a devout Christian who loved to read her Bible. She enjoyed telling stories about her childhood. Her favorite pastime was crochet. She loved a good joke and was often called jolly because of her love of a good laugh. Funeral services will be held at Geer Memorial Baptist Church conducted by the Reverends Broadaus Moody, Richard Smith, and Allan Cain.
