Description	:	Beulah M. Parrott Rains, 87, of rural Birmingham died at 8:15 pm Saturday May 3, 2014 at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren, Keosauqua. She was born August 29, 1926 in the Oak Grove community east of Douds to Leo F. and Ella Hootman Parrott and married Robert J Rains Jr. September 16, 1944 in Butler, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Darrell Robert Rains, a sister, Clella McQuaide and a brother, David Parrott. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Wednesday May 7, 2014 at Pedrick Funeral Home, Dauds, Pastor Phil Campbell officiating. Visitation will open at 3 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with family present 6-7:30 pm. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery east of Douds. Memorials to Good Samaritan Society Hospice or Haney-Brannan Post No. 181, American Legion, Birmingham may be left at the funeral home.
